The next of the oc_art100 prompts, 'Spirit'. I interpreted that in its 'personality' definition, instead of taking it to mean 'ghost'. That just seemed to leave me more options ^^ Nephele here takes every opportunity to be carefree and enjoy the little things, and I hope that came through!
I'm incredibly proud of this, because I used no references! I just sat down and did it one day over break. Yes, the anatomy is somewhat improbable, but that doesn't really bother me; it's mid dance-step after all, and people can do impressive and unexpected things when they're in the midst of shifting their balance!
Also, ridiculously happy with the dress. I kind of wanted to add a frilly underlayer, but I couldn't make it work, so Neph has a simple one piece and corset instead. I blame this on Chronicles of Narnia.
The other thing I wanted to experiment with here was color. I liked the lineart too much to leave it blank, but I didn't want to make a huge project out of it. I've seen a lot of artists do nice work by filling in areas with a flat, subdued color, and leaving it at that. My own attempts at this have failed miserably, but this feels like a step in the right direction ^__^ I have trouble picking out desaturated tones.

I think you did an excellent job with the coloring and the lineart. She looks wonderful and OMG I loved the chronicles of narnia, that was a great movie
The way I heard it, they're doing all seven books. One every christmas for the next six years! I guess the order's been shuffled around a little, but that makes sense.
Oh wow, the movement is fabulous! I love the flow of the clothing and the design! Awesome work!
